Chicks With Stix Dye Class!

I'm so excited to have our first Chicks With Sticks dye class! We will be working with natural dyes and I encourage you to bring a shirt to tye dye as a group! 100% Cotton would be best, I personally will have a long sleeve I will be dyeing. With this class, you will be provided with one skein of yarn of your choice and you have the option to purchase additional skeins on the website. You will have the option to dye a whole personalized dye lot, a max 10 skeins of yarn will fit into one dye pot, which is 1000 grams worth of yarn, we can squeeze in 2 more, but it is not recommeneded. 

The dyes that will be available for the class will be:

Avocado Pits - peach/pink

Osage Orange tree shavings - daisy yellow, mustard yellow

Lac - baby pink, fuchsia, and reds

You will have the option to overdye, dip dye, or speckle your yarn. If you are not 100% happy with the finished product, you are welcome to try again, as my inventory will allow.

As we already agreed, we will also be having a pot luck, (and maybe some wine)!
